Effective: [01.June 2025]
These Platform Rules define essential operational standards for all partners working with NexaTunes. They complement the signed distribution agreement and reflect our internal compliance policies and DSP requirements. In case of conflict, the signed agreement takes precedence.
1. Content Standards & Metadata Requirements
All releases must meet basic quality and metadata standards. This includes:
- Complete and accurate metadata (artist, label, genre, composer, release date, etc.)
- High-resolution cover artwork (min. 3000x3000 px), free of DSP logos or misleading elements
- No placeholders, false credits, or non-cleared material
NexaTunes may delay or reject content that does not meet these standards or violates DSP rules.
2. Release Review & Upload Volume
We reserve the right to manually review new releases — especially from newly onboarded partners or accounts submitting a large number of releases in a short time.
This includes backend uploads that appear low-effort, repetitive, or lack creative integrity.
3. Streaming Manipulation & Platform Integrity
Artificial streaming or attempts to manipulate DSP algorithms are strictly prohibited.
This includes bots, paid streams, playlist farming, or unnatural traffic spikes (e.g. VPN rings).
Violations may lead to:
- DSP penalties being passed on
- Blocking of royalty payouts
- Account suspension in case of repeated or severe misconduct
4. AI-Generated Content
AI-generated music is accepted only if it is part of a human-led creative process.
We do not accept:
- Fully AI-generated music with no artistic intent
- Mass-uploaded, loop-based, or auto-generated material
- Content designed to exploit algorithms or monetization systems
5. Policy Updates & Communication
These Platform Rules may be updated in line with DSP policies and internal platform standards.
We will notify all partners of changes via email or WhatsApp.
Unless objected to in writing within 14 days, continued use of NexaTunes implies acceptance of the updated version.
6. Updates and Acceptance
NexaTunes may update these Platform Rules to reflect changes in DSP requirements, internal policies, or platform-related risk management.
All updates will be communicated in writing (e.g., via email or WhatsApp).
Unless the partner explicitly objects in writing within 14 days, the updated version is considered accepted.
In addition, any new upload submitted after the publication of an updated version will be regarded as implicit acceptance of the current rules.
